2014-2015 UDA Dance
Summit Bid Process
National Dance Team Championship
Orlando, FL – January 31 - February 1, 2015
1 Paid and 12 At-Large Bids
UDA reserves the right to combine, split, delete or add divisions for the Championship based upon Champi-
onship competition enrollment. These adjustments will be made in conjunction with guidelines set forth by the
USASF. UDA reserves the right to adjust days of performance, performance venues and times of competition
for all divisions based upon final Championships competition enrollment.
Divisions and Categories listed below are eligible to receive a “Paid” or an “At Large” bid to the Varsity 2015
The Dance Summit competition. These divisions and categories are:
Small & Large Mini – Prep, Jazz, Pom Hip Hop
Small & Large Youth – Prep, Jazz, Pom Hip Hop
Junior Coed – Prep, Jazz, Pom Hip Hop
Small & Large Junior – Prep, Jazz, Pom Hip Hop
Small & Large Senior – Prep
Small & Large Senior Coed - Prep
Note: Remember that the above levels/divisions will be split/combined for the UDA National Dance Team
Championship based on the USASF guidelines.
Bid Distribution Process for the NDTC:
1. Generally, bids will be awarded to First Place Teams with the highest overall score.
2. Bids will be awarded evenly, to the extent possible, across divisions.
3. Teams holding an At-Large Bid may be upgraded to a Paid Bid. The At-Large Bid will then be
released and passed down.
4. UDA reserves the right to amend the above process based upon final Championship enrollments.
UDA National Dance Team Championship – Summit Bid Distribution
Paid Bid will be awarded to any eligible team at UDA’s discretion
Mini (Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop) – 1 At Large Bid
Youth (Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop) – 4 At Large Bids
Junior Coed (Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop) – 1 At Large Bid
Junior (Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop) – 4 At Large Bids
Senior & Senior Coed (Prep) – at UDA’s discretion
(2 At Large bids will be given at UDA’s discretion)
