1 Paid and 5 At-Large Bids
Divisions and Categories listed below are eligible to receive a “Paid” or an “At Large” bid to
The 2017 Dance Summit. These divisions and categories are:
Tiny – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop
Small & Large Mini – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Kick, Lyrical
Small & Large Youth – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Kick, Lyrical
Junior Coed – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Kick, Lyrical
Small & Large Junior – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Kick, Lyrical
Small & Large Senior – Kick
Small & Large Senior Coed – Kick
Small Open & Large Open - Kick
Small Open Coed & Large Open Coed - Kick
Open Male – Kick
UDA reserves the right to combine, split, delete or add divisions based upon Championship competition
enrollment. These adjustments will be made in conjunction with guidelines set forth by the USASF.
UDA reserves the right to adjust days of performance, performance venues and times of competition for
all divisions based upon final competition enrollment.
Bid Distribution Process:
1.
Team must be in good standing with the USASF as an official Gym Member in order to be eligible
to receive a bid to The Dance Summit. An official USASF printed roster is required prior to
competition.
2.
Generally, bids will be awarded to First Place Teams with the highest overall score.
3.
Bids will be awarded evenly, to the extent possible, across divisions / categories.
4.
Teams holding an At-Large Bid may be upgraded to a Paid Bid. The At-Large Bid will then be
released and passed down.
5.
UDA reserves the right to amend the above process based upon final competition enrollments.
